The one thing I am passionate about...
My first passion is to encourage and support others, especially artists. Right now, I'm looking at creating a non-profit dedicating to doing just that.I am also passionate about creating entertainment myself. I would like to eventually be an executive producer for television shows, directing the overall storyline that flows from episode to episode.
I typically spend my leisure time
Honestly, I watch television. If I want to work in that industry, I need to immerse myself in the culture of what's going on, just like if I were studying to be a history teacher, I'd be reading history books.I also try to be around people whenever I can. Because of this, I only have one or two nights a week where I go straight home after work.
The most influential person in my life has been
Someone who can accept me for who I am. I'm not just talking about my faults here, I'm talking about my personality. I tend to get silly and goofy when the situation allows and not everyone can enjoy that trait. If you want to be with me, you have to enjoy it and not even try once to change it. I know when it's not appropriate.
The first thing people notice about me
Other than the fact that I enjoy to socialize and can talk up a storm (especially if the topic is about entertainment or sci-fi), it would be that I have a big heart that has only gotten bigger lately as God works in my life. I always think of others before myself and I'm always trying to do what I can to serve everyone else and meet their needs where they are. This item used to be under "what people don't notice about you" (below), but I'm finding that people really are noticing now.Oh, people also always notice my hat. I absolutely REFUSE to leave the house without my fedora.
The last book I read and enjoyed
I am currently reading Max Lucado's daily devotional, "Grace for the Moment: Volume II" and it's, well, a daily devotional... lol...Anyway, this book is helping me get back into the Word and passages were ironically appropriate when my Grandpa passed away in October. I think it was more of a God-oince that was planned by the Big Guy, but all I know is that it was appropriate the day he was diagnosed with cancer and the day he passed away less than a week later.
The three things which I am most thankful for
- Being at a place in my life where I can hear when God tells me to do something, and then be able to reap the blessings when I obey.
- My creative abilities that God has endowed me with; be it writing, producing, editing (video), developing websites, etc.
- A stable job with which I am able to pay my bills without worry until my dreams of producing television become reality.
The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me
I'm not always fun and games. I have a serious side to me and I know when to have fun and when to sit down and relax. I may seem like an unending bundle of energy at times, but that energy does run out (or can be contained).
Friends Describe me as
Ambitious, Creative, Optimistic, Outgoing
A little more about me
I am definately getting ready to settle down, so I am looking for serious relationships, but I am also open to getting together for a casual date or two just to have fun (at the least, perhaps a new friendship would emerge). I'm contemplating joining, but that's a heck of a lot of money and I can't put any contact info on here. If only you could find me on MySpace...
