More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

Campaign finance reform - We must take the voting process back away from the major parties and have fully federally funded elections to increase participation in elections. Oh, and motorcycling!

I typically spend my leisure time

Motorcycling, skiing, hiking, planning land acquisitions, hacking away at a novel.

The most influential person in my life has been

Someone who loves change, exploration, and socializing. Intelligence and a good sense of self is important. Strong but not harsh. Creative and with a sense of humor.

The first thing people notice about me

My openess and slick wit.

The last book I read and enjoyed

Villa Incognito by Tom Robbins. Its about MIAs who stay behind in Laos, and the strange animal girls they fall for. I liked the inventiveness of it, but thought he cheaped out at the end with epilogues. Very lazy, Tom.

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. My friends around the world.
  2. My beautiful house in Vermont.
  3. Always believing the best is yet to come.

The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me

That I don't take myself that seriously despite being forthright in my opinions.

Friends Describe me as

Dependable, Easy-Going, Funny, Intelligent

A little more about me

I am a severe egalitarian, where I treat everyone equally. At the same time, I am comfortable with all people, from presidents to an old lady selling peanuts at the side of the road in Africa (I've met both). Something can be learned from all.
