More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

Mentoring. My job has given me the opportunity to see that a harsh micro-managerial approach to life is an attempt at futility. Teaching others and bringing the best out of them makes life better for all parties.

I typically spend my leisure time

Travelling, Reading, playing chess, tennis, triathlons, trying to learn how to golf. Going out to eat is huge for me. There is nothing like finding the most hole in the wall and discovering it has the best food this side of San Francisco.

The most influential person in my life has been

An open mind- My friends and ex's run the entire social gamut from Drama Queens to Drill Sergeants (literally). With an open mind I hope that person can take me for who I am, an utra-logical pseudo-intellectual who can figure out a movie plot within 5 minutes. Did I tell you that I make horrible first impressions, one would have to get over that too.

The first thing people notice about me

How calm I am. I don't tend to get flustered or embarassed too easily, especially in tense situations. Sometimes people see that as being stuffy, I believe it's just me.

The last book I read and enjoyed

The Elegant Universe: Superstrings, Hidden Dimensions, and the Quest for the Ultimate Theory- By Brian Greene: I am not normally a science geek, but it caught my attention one day during one of frequent trips to Borders.

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. Family
  2. Intelligence
  3. My quick wit

The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me

My sardonic wit, I guess sometimes I can be a little quirky at times.

Friends Describe me as

Genuine, Loyal, Rational, Thoughtful

A little more about me

I am in the Army reserve. Although I may not have the same political beliefs as those of our leaders, my parents have always taught me that some part of ones life should be spent in the service to help others.
