More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

I am most passionate about my writing, since that which is being written is such an accurate reflection of myself, my thoughts, and my beliefs. If only I could write directly about myself here as well. =)

I typically spend my leisure time

I'm either writing or spending time with my friends. I generally write whatever so inspires, and as of late I've been working on a collection of fairy tales that will serve as subtle mythology to a larger work. When I'm with my friends we're doing, you know, the usual: playing basketball, watching bad movies, dislocating my shoulder.

The most influential person in my life has been

While it might sound far too simple and obvious, there really isn't a better answer. The most important quality would be in a person who is loving and affectionate. Perhaps not always on the outside, but to always be felt on the inside, never taking love for granted.

The first thing people notice about me

At first, most people would probably see that I am outwardly friendly and polite, yet there is a definite measure of shyness beneath.

The last book I read and enjoyed

Through the Looking Glass by Lewis Carroll was likeable. Interview with the Vampire by Anne Rice was awkward. It was neither as bad as I had feared in the pseudo-pop-goth sense, nor was it as good as I had hoped in terms of being well-written or spooky. God Knows by Joseph Heller is the last one I've finished, and it was excellent. Who would have thought that the story of David could be so hilarious. Moving on to Dante's Purgatorio. I often go through about a book a week, if not faster.

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. Being able to write the stories that I do
  2. The Dark Crystal
  3. The Little Mermaid (The original story)

The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me

It's not that I have no interest, or that I don't have anything to say. I just have trouble starting a conversation with someone I know nothing of.

Friends Describe me as

Creative, Dependable, Loyal, Perceptive
