More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

What am I passionate about? I assume we're limiting this to recreation. In that case, I'd say that I am passionate about making time in my life for fun, physical fitness and relaxation. I tend to be frugal with myself when it comes to material possessions but I'm generous when it comes to living and enjoying life.

I typically spend my leisure time

I'm very good at leisure. I run, work out, go to the zoo and botanical garden, go to shows, especially musicals and sometimes just plain lounge around.

The most influential person in my life has been

ONE quality: aarrgghh!!! I'd like my partner to be intelligent, kind, understanding, fun-loving, active, flexible...My apologies, of course, but I don't think you'll find anywhere in here where I said I follow instructions well.

The first thing people notice about me

My smile. Someone said my "smile lines" but I don't like to think about that. My smile isn't a very good smile as smiles go but it is there most of the time.

The last book I read and enjoyed

I must be paranoid because I think people will know who I am if I give the name of the book. That doesn't make much sense; the book is a bestseller. Let's just say I like Mysteries and I like books with some romance. Not romance novels, mind you, but books like The Legacy (a.k.a. A Town Like Alice). It looks like an adventure novel but it's really a romance. I think of those as "guy romances".

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. my family
  2. my friends
  3. good health

The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me

That I'm trustworthy. Of course, they can't know that until they get to know me. On the other hand, I've noticed many women assume men, me included, are untrustworthy right from the start. That is no less unreasonable.

Friends Describe me as

Intelligent, Kind, Outgoing, Physically Fit
