More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

I am passionate about enjoying life in whatever form that may come in. I love spending time with my family, they are one of the most important things in my life. My niece has become on of the most important things in my world. I am passionate about teaching. Spending a day with my kids can be one of the most rewarding feelings. I also absolutely love traveling- whether it is to visit family and friends or to visit some place new; whether it is a on the go trip full of activities or a relaxing vacation with no plans.

I typically spend my leisure time

My leisure time can be fairly limited! But when I do have down time I love to work on my house...there are always a couple home improvement projects happening. I also like to stay active, whether it's going to the gym, taking my dogs for a walk, hiking in the mountains, camping, whatever the weather will allow! Reading is another way I love to relax, just about anything that comes my way really.

The most influential person in my life has been

That they are honest and trustworthy, otherwise it is difficult to have any type of relationship with anyone.

The first thing people notice about me

That I have a great sense of humor (I think so anyway). I am the first to laugh at myself and generally don't take myself too seriously.

The last book I read and enjoyed

Friday Nights Lights was a great book about high school football in West Texas, it showed how crazy entire towns could be about the sport. I also love the Harry Potter books!

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. For my family and the amazing relationship I have with each one of them.
  2. For all the life experiences I have been dealt thus far.
  3. For my health and all the opportunities I have been given.

Friends Describe me as

Caring, Generous, Genuine, Sweet
