More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

Briefly, I'm passionate about art, poetry, literature, music, concerts, films, anime & manga, travel, video games, comic books, and animals...

I typically spend my leisure time

Writing silly personality profiles online.Oh, and seeking out fresh prey.

The most influential person in my life has been

Someone who is: dorky, afraid to commit, cynical, pessimistic, irresponsible, antisocial, and unattractive. I used to date all these super-hot actor/model types & they BORED ME TO TEARS! Unless you're a woman... We women SHOULD think of ourselves as "hot." I hate to judge a book by its cover, but - just know - if you are "super-hot" you'd have to try harder to impress me. And I'm most impressed by: intelligence, being well-read, talent, and freethinking. Oh, yeah... and being a dork.

The first thing people notice about me

Hmmm. My sneer. They notice that. Unless I've stepped in dog-poo, then they'd probably notice an offending odor. Or if I was screeching like a banshee for no apparent reason... I'll bet that would be something they'd notice. At, least they seemed to last time I did it.

The last book I read and enjoyed

I'm currently reading "Shanghai Baby." It's not bad, I guess. I'm going through a phase right now where I want to read Asian writers. I once only wanted to read Russian writers (but that was when I was a teenager). The last book I thoroughly dug was "Paradoxia - A Predator's Diary" by Lydia Lunch. If you know who Lydia Lunch is, I already like you. If not, you should find out: www.lydialunch.com . I also read a stupid amount of comic books. Sam Keith is a god. The last books I've read that had a profound impact on me were "The Sheltering Sky" by Paul Bowles and "Siddhartha" by Herman Hesse.

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. The health and well being of my family, pets, and loved ones - that's a given, Also I'm constantly grateful for all the luck and bounty I've been afforded in life, but I also try to appreciate the pain and misery of life and what it has given to and taught to me.
  2. That I was graced with intelligence, power, independence, courage, and confidence - and that I'm a woman with those characteristics
  3. I'm thankful that my mother - my cool, inspired, wise mother - raised me to be a freethinker, and a reader - and that I was blessed with an acute awareness; and that my father raised me to be empathetic, loyal, and to find joy in each day

The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me

Sometimes they miss the fact that my canine teeth are very sharp and long. At least they don't notice it until it's too late for them! Heh, heh... Then, at times people neglect to point out the blood dripping from my lips. It can be so embarrasing! Don't you just hate that!?Honestly, though -- no one seems to notice that I'm SO serious. It's strange! They think I'm being sarcastic or something! Ha! I eat sarcasm for breakfast!

Friends Describe me as

Creative, Intelligent, Passionate, Perceptive

A little more about me

No. In fact... the less said, the better, don't you think? Oh hell. I've already said so much though... ;) I'm an Aries. I'm smarter than you, but you probably won't see it. Until it's too late, that is.
