More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

Competency, patience and tolerance. We all have different strengths and weaknesses; in recognizing this we can see and achieve the beauty, humor, frustration and sometimes idiocy in life. (Yes, we are all able to achieve idiocy, at times all to well.)

I typically spend my leisure time

Thinking, exploring (I am new to the area), walking on the beach, photographing the ocean, surfing, reading, teaching myself the guitar.

The most influential person in my life has been

Honesty, self-sufficiency and the ability to recognize how fortunate we all are.

The first thing people notice about me

My inclination to be observant, detail-oriented and, at times, a tendency to come off as a bit arrogant (No, not me! Sometimes I can have rather strong opinions but I know the difference between an argument and a debate).

The last book I read and enjoyed

"Fortunate Son: George W. Bush And The Making Of An American President" by J. H. Hatfield. This book was banned during/about the first election and the Republican Party went to great lengths to discredit the author. It has since been republished and seemed like a timely read. It was definitely interesting and it puts a face on Bush that almost makes one feel sorry for the child.

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. Intelligence
  2. Patience
  3. Education

The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me

That I don't always use polysyllabic words.

Friends Describe me as

Intelligent, Rational, Romantic, Sweet

A little more about me

Ask. I'm like a book. Sometimes open, sometimes closed. Perhaps a bit dog-eared as are all things that are becoming sage. Not too many cracks in the spine. There probably are some pages missing. What a goofy analogy. Oh well, it kinda works.
