More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

I am passionate about living a balanced life. I really enjoy being active outside. Cycling is my most passionate sport but I also enjoy swimming, running, hiking, skiing, etc.

I typically spend my leisure time

I usually find some type of physical activity to do during the week; biking, running, swimming, squash. On the weekends I'm apt to get out of the city and explore the beach, or countryside. Sometimes a chill weekend at home can be just as essential.

The most influential person in my life has been

There are a few essential ones; Chemistry (with me), sense of humor, passion for physical activities, trust, affection, strong family bonds

The first thing people notice about me

The last book I read and enjoyed

I read 'Blink' recently. I thought it had some interesting points about how instantaneous decisions can be equally as valid as those that you might deliberate over a period of days.

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. Having a great, loving, funny family
  2. Being passionate about my work
  3. Great friends who appreciate a good adventure, a good dinner, and a good laugh

The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me

My body piercings (just kidding)

A little more about me

I am a pretty laid back guy with a lot of interests and passions. I have run a small company for the past 10 years and am constantly challenged at work - which is great. I am really fortunate to love my work. It also affords me a lot of flexibility so I can take a good deal of time off and explore new things. Recently, I have been bitten by the competition bug and have been training and competing in triathlons and running races (10mi, marathon). I'm not the typically obsessive, competitive type but when the gun goes off it really gets my adrenaline going.
