More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

My passion is furniture refurbishing. I like taking old non-descript pieces of furniture I find throughout the city and converting trash into funky, unusual, one-of-a-kind, multi-functional works. I would love to improve my skills. I work a lot with metal furniture and my dream is to become better at rust prevention (which is the bane of my existence!).

I typically spend my leisure time

I typically find myself entangled in some new home design project or I take a lot of walks around NY. At night, I enjoy fun events, bars, places and restaurants. I also like to dance.

The most influential person in my life has been

I like to laugh - I don't feel like I laugh enough. I really want to find someone who is easygoing and creative. Painting, ceramics, sculpture... I love working with my hands and hope to learn new things with another creative.

The first thing people notice about me

My smile and my scent. I love to smell good. I love men who smell clean, too.

The last book I read and enjoyed

I work a lot and haven't really found a lot of time for myself to read. I'm always reading and researching on the internet because of my line of work. I skim a lot of books for work, but I don't remember the last book I read. In fact, I had two 6 ft bookcases filled with books I bought that I never got a chance to read and just decided to give them away or sell them to the Strand. I'm trying to streamline my life and despise unnecessary clutter.

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. I just moved back to NYC and I'm thankful to have a place that I love.
  2. I work in an unstable field, tv, so I'm thankful to be working.
  3. I'm thankful that each day seems filled with possibilities.

The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me

Not sure. I have to come back to this.

A little more about me

I like a simple life. I don't like clutter or a lot of material things. I feel claustrophobic in spaces with extreme amounts of stuff. I also think I'm a hard person to get to know. When it comes to my personal life, I'm extremely nervous and awkward around new people. It takes a while for me to feel comfortable, but once I'm relaxed I think it's worth the wait.
