More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

My family. I have a great family that is very close. There's nothing we wouldn't do for each other.

I typically spend my leisure time

Well, I work full time so I don't have much leisure time. I'd say my biggest passion is sports. I love ice hockey, so in the winters I love attending games to our local hockey team, or watching my favorite team on TV. (GO PENS! :)) I'm also a HUGE Penn State fan. In the summers I like to do outdoor things. I really enjoy golfing on the weekends. I also love taking road trips. I love movies, so when I'm home I might watch a blu-ray or throw in a video game.

The most influential person in my life has been

Honesty. You need to be able to trust the other person in a relationship or else it will never work.

The first thing people notice about me

The first thing people notice is also my biggest flaw. I'm shy and quiet when first meeting people. I think I'm very selective with the people I allow to get to me well. I like to feel the person out first before I decide to open up. The funny thing is that I'm generally well liked once people get to know me. I'm funny and outgoing.

The last book I read and enjoyed

I'm not an avid reader. I think the last book I read was The Kite Runner. It was about a boy growing up in Afghanistan prior to the Soviet invasion, his life in America after fleeing his country, and his subsequent return to his country as a grown man to face an evil that happened to him as a boy. The thing I liked most about the book was the characters best friend. He was a very humble and good man, and also a very loyal friend despite not receiving the same loyalty in return.

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. My Parents. I'm thankful they raised me well and put a good head on my shoulders.
  2. My awesome family.
  3. My true friends. I may not have many, but the few I do have are truly great.

The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me

I can be very fun to be around. I tend to be very quiet and reserved when I first meet people. They don't see that I have a good sense of humor or that I could be very fun to hang out with.

Friends Describe me as

Caring, Funny, Quiet, Sweet

A little more about me

I am divorced so I worry about women getting the wrong impression of me. It wasn't an ugly situation. My ex-wife and I are still friends and we get along fine. It was just a matter of not being the right fit. So don't let it scare you away. I'm not damaged goods or anything. lol
