More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

music. i been playing guitar since junior high. i'm not very good at it cuz i never practice. :) i been playing harmonica for a year or two, i can blow a little something, just the blues. i've done three home recordings, link to download available upon request (or i might try to force you to listen to them). i should have more done by now but i'm real lazy. i listen to most all kinds of pop music - blues, punk, soul, indie, jazz, country. i don't know anything about classical music so i guess that's a hole in my eclecticism (is that a word?)

I typically spend my leisure time

lift weights, play tennis, play guitar, play harmonica, watch TV (i'm lazy), get drunk

The most influential person in my life has been

i'm not much for checklists, i kinda take em one by one, but i've got a few broad basics. i like somebody who's real nice to me. some kinda smart would be good, doesn't hafta be like hoighty toighty book smart, but some type of nontriviality in what you think about would be nice. me, i'm kinda hoighty toighty book smart, i'm good at abstract things like math (i'm a math nerd), but i can never remember how to change a tire so that tells you how retarded i am about real life. i probly care too much about looks in a girl. childlike enthusiasm is always good

The first thing people notice about me

i mumble and i have kind of a crazy laugh

The last book I read and enjoyed

i'll say my favorite instead of my last - cannery row by john steinbeck. it's about a little town in california. what i like about it is it's unpretentious, funny, profound yet an easy read, and it evokes nostalgia in me which is one of my favorite emotions. more recently i read the once and future king and that book is amazing, but i think cannery row is still my favorite

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. music
  2. games
  3. my job

The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me

i dunno, i wanna think of some insightful answer but i got nothing. i don't expect too much from people, they've got their own stuff to worry about, i don't expect them to be all observant of me right away, i figure if i end up spending enough time around somebody then the way i am will seep into their awareness eventually

Friends Describe me as

Happy, Intelligent, Physically Fit, Rational

A little more about me

i had some juicy additional information here but then i got a politely stern email from the eharmony gods telling me that i was in violation of a policy not to be offensive, so i am hereby removing it (along with some colorful language i had in my other answers)
