More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

To spend my time making my time count for something. That I live my life in a manner that I will hear "well done good and faithful servant". That I can help others to know an awesome joy!

I typically spend my leisure time

Reading, listening to my music and dancing around the house (kinda like on Mrs. Doubtfire), working in my yard (love the outdoors), taking walks, time with friends, working on a surprise for someone who has no idea and for no reason.

The most influential person in my life has been

Someone who has a personal relationship with the Lord and is confident in who he is and doesn't try to always please others and be what someone else thinks he should be. A man of integrity and honesty, not only to others but to himself.

The first thing people notice about me

My willingness to do for others, my laugh and often times silly way of doing things.

The last book I read and enjoyed

Hinds Feet On High Places. An awesome book about a girl named Much Afraid who lived in the valley of humiliation and wanted to go to the high places with the Shepherd. Her family were the likes of Pride, Craven Fear etc. The Shepherd gave her companions named Sorrow and Suffering. Their journey was long and difficult, but in the end they were transformed into Grace and Glory, Joy and Peace. The Shepherd kept His promise found in Habakkuk 3:19 that He is my strength and will make my feet like hinds (deer) feet, and will make me walk upon mine high places. The book so much encouraged me to keep on keeping on.

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. my relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ
  2. i have lost most of my family, and have wonderful new family in my friends!
  3. eyesight to see incredible sunrises, sunsets, smiles, snow and all of creation

The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me

That I probably am alittle deeper than maybe first appearance would suggest.

Friends Describe me as

Affectionate, Genuine, Loyal, Spiritual

A little more about me

I love life. We only have one time to pass by this world and it is too precious to be too busy being busy to see others in it. I would enjoy the company of someone who shares my values and sees the really small things as the oh so important things, and the often times big things as not so very important.
