More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

I am most passionate that life is for living. Travel and experiencing new things are very important to me, whether it be a short hike in the woods near my home or a long, in-depth overseas trip to Africa or Asia.

I typically spend my leisure time

I often go with friends out to dinner and to watch local bands play; I walk on the beach a lot; I go to lots of outdoor daytime events such as local festivals, art shows, concerts in the park. I like to boat. I like to attend NFL football games or watch them on tv in sports bars.

The most influential person in my life has been

That he is a wonderful man!

The first thing people notice about me

Upon first meeting me, most people say I am outgoing, fun, and smart.

The last book I read and enjoyed

"Charlie Wilson's War" -- The true story of a Texas Congressman who almost single-handedly armed the Afghan rebels against the Soviets in the 1980s, while at the same time partying all the time in Las Vegas and doing drugs and drinking. Tom Hanks is making the movie from the book right now. It's an incredible story about a unique person -- funny and serious, and all true!

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. For being born in America, the best place on Earth
  2. For my wonderful friends and my family
  3. For my health

The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me

That I also am serious and reflective. I am a bit of a dichotomy -- half the time pure fun-loving, and half the time deep-thinking.

Friends Describe me as

Happy, Intelligent, Loyal, Outgoing

A little more about me

Just that I believe life is for living, in a thousand small and large ways. Not every day needs to be an adventure, but certainly there should be several adventures each year!
