More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

I am most passionate about helping others. In both my professional and social life I want to make others lives better. This sometimes confuses people because they think I don't need help. I just find fulfillment in making others happy. However, at the same time I am passionate about having mutually supportive romantic and platonic relationships with those closest to me.

I typically spend my leisure time

I love to pamper myself with a bubble bath, wine, and a good book.

The most influential person in my life has been

The quality most important to me is that my partner be caring. Not only do I seek someone who is affectionate and thoughtful toward me, but also with other people. I want someone who enjoys making others smile and can empathize when they are facing life's challenges and celebrate when others are blessed with life's rewards.

The first thing people notice about me

People always tell me how friendly I am. People seem to feel comfortable with me. I often hear from people that I seem very sincere, caring, happy, and generous which puts them at ease.

The last book I read and enjoyed

The LAST book I read and enjoyed was called Midnight Hour and is part of a series of romance novels published by BET books. I love to do some no-brainer reading during the school year just to unwind. Usually, this means romance, which I enjoy. The book was about a cattle rancher and a movie star falling in love while she is secretly hiding away from the press on another part of his ranch. It was predictable and a little corny, but I enjoyed it.

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. My family and friends
  2. My education
  3. Opportunities to experience different parts of the world

The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me

I wish people would recognize that I don't always have the answers. I need others to support me as much as I support them.

Friends Describe me as

Caring, Funny, Good listener, Intelligent
