More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

This is difficult for me, as I am a very passionate person by nature. I am most passionate about whatever is important to me at the time. If things are rough at work, I am passionate about success with the project. If I am preparing a presentation for high school students, than I am most passionate about connecting with them. If I am kissing a woman, then I am most passionate about enjoying the moment with her.

I typically spend my leisure time

Driving to or from Home Depot. I've always enjoyed home improvement projects. Current project is building nice cabinets and shelving in the garage. I might not be as fast as a professional, but the end result is every bit as good.

The most influential person in my life has been

Trust. Lets be honest here. There is more to it than just "one important quality". It is important that we "connect". The "chemistry" is very important to me. Being able to accept our differences is also good, but learning to grow because of these differences is fantastic.

The first thing people notice about me

I have a great sense of humor. Even in times of high stress or disappointment, I always seem to be able to make myself and others laugh.

The last book I read and enjoyed

Desert Solitaire. This is a book written in the 60's which describes the Arches National Park in Utah before it become so popular. Book is somewhat historic in that it is considered to be one of the first books to take an "environmental stand". Well worth reading.

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. I was born and raised in the United States.
  2. I had the best friends a kid could ask for when growing up.
  3. I have a job and career that I am very proud of.

The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me

Yes, I am an engineer, but I am NOT a nerd. Sure, I can be precise, and talk in a "scientific" fashion with the best of them, but I think I am very well cultured and pretty well rounded. I think with my head but feel with my heart.

Friends Describe me as

Dependable, Hard Working, Intelligent, Loyal
