More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

Being true to myself. I think this is the way to happiness, but it is such a long process. I feel passionate when I am writing something new and the ideas pour out onto the page gracefully, a rare occurrence. I also find helping others to be an invaluable enrichment of my life.

I typically spend my leisure time

Eating with friends, cooking, reading on the couch with the dogs, movies, the gym, or walking around the city. Sometimes I just need to be a vegetable in front of the TV.

The most influential person in my life has been

The first thing people notice about me

I can at first seem a bit reserved but this doesn't last too long.

The last book I read and enjoyed

The Heart is a Lonely Hunter by Carson McCullers. It's about a 12 year-old tomboy exploring her southern community and the characters it holds. The people in the book are wonderfully flawed.

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. My support - family, friends and dogs.
  2. My ability to provide for myself what I really need.
  3. My education.

The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me

My kindness

Friends Describe me as

Caring, Funny, Genuine, Perceptive

A little more about me

I love being with my niece and nephew. They really make me appreciate the wonders of the world because they are seeing and doing so many things for the very first time. I really want to enjoy life. I think the way to do this is being true to yourself, working hard, and not taking too much too seriously.
