The one thing I am passionate about...
I am most passionate about exploring and learning ideas particularly those that can transform our lives on physical, emotional, and spiritual levels into something greater and more whole. I particularly like information that comes outside the box of mainstream thinking.Within my own occupation, I have traveled the world to explore how gifted people help facilitate healing in others. I have applied this knowledge within my own practice and to the amazement of my patients and myself, found that health can be transformed beyond what is typically possible with mainstream and alternative medicine.
I typically spend my leisure time
Reading ,watching television (current faves are Battlestar Galactica, 24, Grey's Anatomy), movies (will watch almost anything but particularly like scifi and fantasy), going to concerts, using my computer, and spending time with my friends and family. I also play table tennis. I also enjoy photography especially of wildlife and of my 2 1/2 year old nephew.
The most influential person in my life has been
I think that everyone wants the same thing: to be loved and accepted for who they are. It's wonderful to have this from a significant other, but even better when one strives to have this come from within and flow outwards to everyone else. If you understand what I mean, you may have one of the most important qualities I'm looking for.
The first thing people notice about me
Most people notice I can be quiet at first. Once they get beyond that, some notice my curious mind and others notice my kindness. Very intuitive people tell me that that I'm sensitive, have a sweet heart and that my soul/spirit is awakened.
The last book I read and enjoyed
I'm often in the middle or reading multiple books. One of the most influential has been Disappearance of the Universe by Gary Renard. This is one of the best books I've ever read on spirituality. It ties together common concepts from multiple spiritual ideologies into a single, practical system. It teaches one to transform fear, anger, condemnation into love and peace through the power of forgiveness and acceptance.Another great book with similar themes is Lifting the Veil of Duality: Your Guide to Letting Go of Judgment by Andreas Moritz.
The three things which I am most thankful for
- Family who loves me
- Friends who care about me
- The Universe for bringing people and experiences which have guided me along an amazing journey.
The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me
On first appearance, many people think I'm conservative and innocent, when I actually have progressive ideas on health, spirituality, life, and relationships.
Friends Describe me as
Easy-Going, Funny, Good listener, Intelligent
A little more about me
1) I'm an American born Taiwanese2) My spirituality is mostly based on A Course in Miracles - a spiritual guide usually pursued by people who believe there are Truths beyond what is available through organized religion. This and other similar writings say we've forgotten our connection to everything and the Divine. We can regain this memory of who we really are by being present, being mindful of our judgments, trusting intuition, and learning to Love and accept ourselves and others just the way we are. Instead of life being a endless series of problems, it becomes to classroom to learn Love and Peace.3) My account is currently expired.
