More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

Civil war reenacting. The ability of recreating an important part of history, sharing that experiance with others who share that passion, and a chance to educate the public

I typically spend my leisure time

Reading.Listening to music.Enjoying a good movie, either at home or out at a movie theater.

The most influential person in my life has been

The first thing people notice about me

My smile.

The last book I read and enjoyed

The book is called "The Glorious Cause", a novel written by Jeff Shaara. This is the second of a two-part series that tells the story of American Revolution from the points of view of several key participants. It follows a time line that begins in August 1776, after the signing of the Declaration of Independence, and follows the progress of the war to its conclusion. Having read about the war, this book related how different persons reacted to what was going on around them and their involvement in it.

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. Surviving cancer
  2. Being able to work
  3. Having a good family

The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me

My warm heart.

Friends Describe me as

A little more about me

As a cancer survivor I enjoy getting online and participating in cancer support chat rooms. This allows me to talk to other survivors and support those who are currently going through treatment.
