The one thing I am passionate about...
I love when people are living and enjoying life. My passion is to somehow contribute to the happiness of others as well as myself either through providing unforgettable experiences or helping someone regain enthusiasm for the life experience. I believe that life is a gift and should be experienced fully... the way that God intended.
I typically spend my leisure time
I do a variety of things with my free time it just depends on what type of mood I'm in. I like to work out, go to the park and read, go to starbucks, borders, work on my website, go to the movies, dinner, dancing or spend time with family and friends and I do a lot of community service....just to name a few.
The most influential person in my life has been
I can't quite name one quality since there are so many that are important and critical to a successful relationship. A man has to first and foremost love God and love himself. Without these elements, any relationship that he enters is doomed - the same is true for women of course. Once the foundational love is in place, he will be in a position to share a love that is similar to God's example. Everything else will fall in place with these being the foundation. He will love me, he will love people and will take care of the less fortunate and do nothing but good when no one is looking. Ethics, Morals, Responsibility, Trust are also needed.
The first thing people notice about me
I think people notice that I am a no nonsense kind of person rather quickly. While I absolutely love people and like to have fun ? I haven?t redefined ?fun? to mean anything other than it is. I enjoy helping people ? that?s fun. I enjoy working out ? that?s fun. I enjoy reading and learning something new ? that?s fun. I enjoy listening to music and dancing ? that?s fun. I have been described as an ?interesting? person because I?m very dynamic and multifaceted. This is made evident early as well
The last book I read and enjoyed
The book that I'm currently reading is "The Purpose Driven Life" by Rick Warren. I enjoy books that encourage people to appeal to their better selves and connect with the high being. The book is about living our lives the way that God wants us to live it, not the way that man continuously recommends that we live it. There?s so much information out there that it?s quite easy to be lead astray and even when I read the most positive books, I do so wearing my critical thinking hat. I like the fact that the book encourages you to - as Oprah often says - 'Live Your Best Life"
The three things which I am most thankful for
- Positive Outlook
- Family, Friends, Love
The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me
I don?t think people realize that I?m not superwoman and I cannot nor should I be expected to do it all. People view me as being ?strong? and ?independent? but I?m not so strong or so independent that I?ve been removed from the truth about my soul mate. Even though I?ve had to take care of myself since I was 15, I have not for a single moment forgotten about the importance of family. I?m very family oriented and understand the importance of being with the right person and spending my life and time with the right family. I'm very family oriented and still hold some very traditional values... this would be the thing that people don't notice
