More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

Meaningful relationships, Romance, Travel, Time with Family, Outdoor physical activities such as hiking, biking, golf, swimming, Playing pool, Music, Movies, Plays, Gathering around the table with friends to encourage one another and enjoy each others company, My relationship with God, Helping people be the best they can be in their health.

I typically spend my leisure time

I enjoy anything that gets me out in wonderful wild Colorado. I find real satisfaction in, enhancing others lives through relationship or through my work as a healer. I like to make sure I have time for improving my skills at dancing, pool, karaoke, or golf.

The most influential person in my life has been

True faith in a God who is bigger than whatever misunderstandings happen between us. This quality will look something like this: she'll make an honest attempt to walk with God in loving and honest communion, and as a result will be able (when we disappoint one another) to instinctively join with me in coming hand in hand as we bring our failures under the blood of Christ, and get up again and go on.

The first thing people notice about me

My open-hearted friendliness and personal interest in them...and that hey this guy is actually pretty funny.

The last book I read and enjoyed

RC Sproul's, The Invisible Hand. It set forth the Providence of God as "our fortress, our shield, & our very great reward"...as that which "provides courage & perserverance"..."a bedrock of comfort...for His saints". It stated that just as there are no maverick molecules in God's economy, there are also no chance happenings...that God knows all future contingencies, yet (He) does not know them contingently. The book enabled me to coalesce the unknown and difficult parts of my life into a meaningful tapestry. My favorite authors are "R C", Francis Schaeffer, Sinclair Ferguson, Chs. Spurgeon,

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. My loving family who are so much a part of my life
  2. My relationships with friends and with God
  3. The ability to enjoy the wonderful west

The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me

Though this is not necessarily a common occurrence--sometimes I wish they'd notice that my out-going and fun-loving persona doesn't interfere with my ability to be a faithful and true friend.

Friends Describe me as

Genuine, Loyal, Physically Fit, Spontaneous

A little more about me

I feel it's important to attempt to grow and to help others grow through encouragement and accountable relationship, because positive changes seem most likely to occur in the presence of a caring community or with a caring partner who happens to be a bit of a card. I'd be interested to get your take on this one.
