The one thing I am passionate about...
I am passionate about history (especially regarding the Presidency), music, and, on a different level, sharing great times with family and friends. In a general way, I believe it is very important to be nice and not to harm others, but show kindness and understanding often.
I typically spend my leisure time
Reading, researching/writing, playing guitar and/ or listening to music, being with family/ friends.
The most influential person in my life has been
Friendship, followed closely behind by chemistry and, last but not least, "cuteness" (in looks and in attitude)
The first thing people notice about me
My height (!)---6'5"---and my friendly, laidback disposition.
The last book I read and enjoyed
"Truman" by David McCullough about the late great 33rd President of the U.S.A., Harry S. Truman (it won a Pulitzer Prize, was made into a movie, and was a massive best-seller). Best book I ever read (and I have read hundreds)! I loved how it read (like the great author McCullough speaks on PBS!) and the feel of the work...and what it taught me about the value of honesty, hard work, and never giving up, despite the odds.
The three things which I am most thankful for
- My wonderful parents
- My optimistic outlook on myself and life, in general
- My artistic pursuits
The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me
Hmmm...hard to say. I have been told that I am cute enough to almost believe it! ;-)My first impressions are good but my second impressions are even better.
Friends Describe me as
Affectionate, Intelligent, Optimistic, Sweet
A little more about me
I genuinely believe I have alot to offer a woman: very nice, sweet caring, gentle, romantic, laidback, affectionate, non-jealous, and kind. No guy will treat you better. I may not be rich but money can't buy happiness anyway---it's all about the genuine way you treat someone and I am very good at that. ;-)
