More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

I am passionate about family and all things related - including political issues and education. On weekends I love time at home, preparing gourmet cuisine [woulda, coulda, shoulda been a chef], gardening/landscaping, sewing/design... I love adventure, travel and warm climates, but I am equally content to simply spend quiet time at home. My free time is scarce, but I like to be outdoors & active whenever possible!

I typically spend my leisure time

Domestically: Cleaning, cooking, gardening, decorating, & being with my family. Did I mention my passion for food? I do some catering... I also love to be outdoors doing anything active.

The most influential person in my life has been

A man with a plan! He would be a leader; Intelligent, hard working, and assured, with solid Christian ethics/morals. He would be able to converse. He would have a heart for children!

The first thing people notice about me

My smile & cheerful attitude, I hope. I try to show kindness to people I meet.

The last book I read and enjoyed

I'm in the middle of two... Mere Christianity by C.S. Lewis and 10 Essentials of Highly Healthy People by Dr. Walt Larimore. C.S. Lewis philosophizes about critical moral issues using analogy and logic. His wisdom is so basic and pragmatic that I find myself reading each passage twice! Dr. Larimore's book invites the reader to journal along and evaluate his own health status while providing key principles to increase well-being. He makes clear the connection between spiritual, emotional, physical and relational aspects of health. Vital & practical - can't wait to finish!

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. That God is sovereign and in charge. That reality brings hope and encouragement!
  2. For my parents who love me and my children whom I love!
  3. For my incredible boss and coworkers!

The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me

That I have a brain!

Friends Describe me as

Creative, Hard Working, Intelligent, Sweet
