More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

As trite as it sounds, I'm most passionate about life - it's too short and precious to be wasted. My family is also very important to me. Though small, my family is very close and has been a constant source of strength and joy to me throughout my life.

I typically spend my leisure time

It depends ... in terms of everyday activities, I enjoy reading, watching movies, dining out, shopping, Broadway shows etc. I also enjoy photography as a hobby - I'm not sure I quite rise to the level of an amateur photographer but I like to take pictures, both of friends and family and of the world around me. I also like to try / learn new things. At the moment, I'm teaching myself to play the harmonica, which is actually a lot of fun - and, pretty simple for someone who is basically tone-deaf :-)

The most influential person in my life has been

I'm looking for a man who values family, will not be intimidated by a smart, confident, successful woman and who loves to laugh.

The first thing people notice about me

That I'm a good listener.

The last book I read and enjoyed

I just finished "The Rule of Four" by Ian Caldwell and Dustin Thomason. It's a Da Vinci Code style thriller set on the Princeton campus that definitely kept my attention. Before that, I read "How to Talk to a Liberal (if you must)" by Ann Coulter, which is essentially a collection of her columns written over the past few years. Although a bit extreme, she has an interesting take on current events.

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. Family
  2. Friends
  3. Good health

The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me

I'm not always serious - I have a wide range of interests and enjoy relaxing and having a good time.

Friends Describe me as

Caring, Intelligent, Kind, Loyal
