More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

I like to spend time with people in order to get to know them better. I do like to hear about what people like, what motivates them and what wisdom that they have to share. You can learn a lot about people, just by listening to what they have to say.I do like some sports, especially the NBA.I enjoy cooking and going to dinner and the movies.I also value time apart and time alone. It is important to me to be able to spend some time apart to think, meditate, pray, or to just recharge my batteries.

I typically spend my leisure time

How I spend my leisure time depends upon my mood. Sometimes, it's TV and movies. Other times, it reading, listening to music, or surfing the internet (Wikipedia can be quite addictive).I've started learning how to play golf this year, so I do go to the driving range at least one to two times a week.At least one day a week, I'll hang out with friends or my roommates.

The most influential person in my life has been

Trying to quantify the one quality that I'm looking for in another person is a little difficult. I'm going to go outside of the box and give a few things that I look for in another person. The person needs to have a defined moral compass. It might be different from mine, but it needs to be there. Another quality would be honesty and the discernment as to when to be honest. Some people use truth as a means to hurt other people--that's not what I mean about being honest. The ability to forgive. A sense of humor. A sense of knowing who they are and accepting of who they are as a person.

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. The ability to find the humor in most situations.
  2. Not having to worry too much about finances.
  3. Being happy.
