More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

I am most passionate about helping people overcome obstacles to their personal growth. While this is my job, in the process I learn so much about relationships and about myself!

I typically spend my leisure time

I like to read, listen to music, enjoy nature, and pursue creative outlets (art, sewing, cooking, etc). I enjoy spending time with friends, exploring interesting places, seeing community theater, "artsy" movies, etc.

The most influential person in my life has been

Integrity! I am interested in a person who stands up for what he believes in, is not afraid to admit mistakes or weaknesses, and is always striving to grow in his personal life and pursuits.

The first thing people notice about me

I think people notice my friendliness and my ability to get along with anyone.

The last book I read and enjoyed

"Extremely Loud, Incredibly Close" by Jonathan Foer. It is a story set in post 9/11 NYC, and is about a nine year old boy who is in search of what he thinks is some secret which will reveal more about his father, who died in the attack. It is a wonderfully moving, sometimes funny, and very creative look into the psychological state of a child trying to make sense of his father's death, as well as family history.

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. My children and their good health. It has been amazing to watch them grow into unique, wonderful adults!
  2. My ability to see "the big picture" (with humor, in most instances), so that I don't get bogged down in little things.
  3. My spirituality, Even though it ebbs and flows, it is the basis for who I am.

The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me

Sometimes I wish that people would notice that, even though I'm friendly, I sometimes feel shy and would like to be extended the hand of friendship first.

Friends Describe me as

Caring, Creative, Easy-Going, Good listener

A little more about me
