More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

NASCAR plays a large part of my life, and I'm very passionate about it. Attending races, visiting the shops and museums of the teams, and planning an annual party for 500 people around Daytona are very exciting times for me.

I typically spend my leisure time

I'm a voracious reader, and enjoy writing My Best-Selling Novel. Love to spend time with family and friends. Enjoy swimming in the summer, traveling every chance I can steal away. Playing with my dog. Browsing through catalogs for new party supplies.

The most influential person in my life has been

Zest for life is very important. While your profession can put you in a rut, what you do with your life outside of work matters most. Think outside the box.

The first thing people notice about me

My smile and happy-go-lucky air. Life is good, and short - enjoy it!

The last book I read and enjoyed

"How To Talk To A Liberal" by Ann Coulter, and "Holy Blood, Holy Grail". I enjoy discussing politics, and as a staunch Republican I tend to have trouble talking to liberal Democrats without getting frustrated. Holy Blood, Holy Grail is a non-fiction look at the life of Jesus and the possible family he had with Mary Magdalene and the suppression of the facts of this life He had. (It shares the premise of The DaVinci Code but with a more plausible truth.)

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. I'm thankful my parents are alive, healthy and happy.
  2. Thankful that I'm loved and appreciated by my family and friends.
  3. Very thankful that I was born and live in the USA, and for the freedoms we have.

The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me

I am serious and compassionate about matters important to me, and sometimes people whom I've just met tend to think I'm 'too' happy or can't carry on a serious conversation. Ah, little do they know...

A little more about me

I love to cook, and bake. I've been known to drive 3 or 4 hours to eat at a favorite restaurant. I love my car (2000 Monte Carlo) and like keeping it clean. Enjoy movies and University of Kentucky basketball; like to watch the Discovery Channel; long time student of the JFK Assassination; like to ride the waves at the beach; love to fly but don't like the takeoffs or landings; I'm a sucker for dogs and birds and bowling. I think Michael Moore needs to be shot into outer space. I can tell you what episode of The X-Files is on just by hearing a line of dialogue or hearing a description of the scene. I enjoy playing practical jokes.
