More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

I'm passionate about life. I want to enjoy it to the fullest and try to do so, no matter what I do. I want to notice things around me and not fall into habitual lulls about anything. I actually stop to smell the roses and look around when climbing a mountain. It's not about getting to the top it's about enjoying and getting the most out of your way there. I love the outdoors, hiking, camping, roadbiking, enjoying a good book, going to a spectacular opera or watching a movie that moves me in some way, as well as many many other things. I will try anything once.

I typically spend my leisure time

I like to do a lot of outdoor physical activities. My latest passion is road biking, but I also like camping, hiking, climbing, running. I like to work out. If I'm not outdoors, I like clubs, movies, theater, opera, ballet, museums or just curling up on my couch with a good book.

The most influential person in my life has been

I need to feel "chemistry" with the other person, but this quality is not a tangible one, so it is difficult to say what kind of a person it will happen or not happen with.

The first thing people notice about me

Most people immediately feel very comfortable being open and themselves around me right away.

The last book I read and enjoyed

I tend to read 2-3 books at the same time period. The last few books I read was "Eleven Minutes", written by Paulo Coelho ( a philosophical exploration of a path to one's inner self), "Genom", by Sergey Lukianenko (my favorite sci-fi writer) and the GMAT test prep book :), I plan on going to biz school and recently took this test.

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. Being pushed into math and science classes since an early age, which thought me how to think creatively and outside of the box.
  2. Moving to the US
  3. Being able to find good things in almost any situation
