More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

There are of a number of things that I am passionate about. My family, friends my faith and of course my love of travel. I do enjoy finding new places to see. Part of the fun is doing reseach to find a bargin when traveling. Plus doing research to find travel tips from the locals. My friends all joke that I can not go anywhere without my "book". For when I travel I always have a travel book. My moto is one needs to be prepared should plans need to change. I seem to have the last laugh when they joke about this as everyone always asks what the travel book suggest.

I typically spend my leisure time

I find that I spend a portion of my time in volunteer work with several local comminity groups. One thing that I do so enjoy is reading. Always looking for a new book. Find time to go to the gym on a regular bases to help with the stress level. I do enjoy going to street fairs and festivals and in the Chicago area there are so many to attend.

The most influential person in my life has been

A honest carring person to share lifes ups and downs.

The first thing people notice about me

That I have a great smile.

The last book I read and enjoyed

This is a hard one as I am a avid reader. Many times I will have more than one book going at a time. It all depends on what my mood is. A friend of mines daughter saw the book Chicken Soup for the Traveler's Soul. She spent her allowance to buy it for me as she knows how much I like to travel. It is a book I pick up from time to time and read a portion of it over again. I always feel special when I read it. It reminds me that to someone I am special.

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. Friends and faimly
  2. My Health
  3. The success I have in my job

The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me

That I have a good sense of humor.

A little more about me
