The one thing I am passionate about...
I'm passionate about doing a good job on whatever responsibility falls my way. There are priorities to meet in life, but once I fill my obligations to my family, I believe in helping those with physical impairments, particularly visual. That's probably what I'd spend a lot of time, effort, and $$$ on if I won the lottery. On a gut level, I am passionate about great performances in life. That includes great speeches, great theater, great athletics, and great music. I relish the opportunity to really "nail something" (meant in the most virtuous sense of the word of course) and love seeing other people do so too.
I typically spend my leisure time
Outdoor activities- hiking, skiing (XC and downhill),golf, biking; playing music; aikido. I admit I do like to have structure and goals if I'm going to have my leisure time. That being said, I really do like to have at least one weekend day with no schedule whatsoever.
The most influential person in my life has been
I guess the most important thing which would be pretty nice, in only *one* quality, would be "integrity". Not meaning that someone has to be perfect somehow, but that generally speaking, you think about it and always try to do the right thing, on all levels of life. I'll also be pretty happy if I can just make you laugh easily. Being generally considerate is a pretty nice trait too. I'll take any of those three traits if you got 'em: integrity, the giggles, or considerateness!
The first thing people notice about me
Probably my sense of humor I guess.
The last book I read and enjoyed
OK I'm not a complete ignoramus, but I can't remember the last book I read that I really enjoyed. Oh wait, now I do- it was "The Da Vinci Code". But everyone likes that- it's a real page-turner. The author I like the most is John Updike, for his amazing ability to paint the picture of his characters' conscious experiences in a very very real way. More than any other author I know of, when I am looking through his characters' eyes, I completely understand how they feel and how they got to feeling this way.
The three things which I am most thankful for
- Being alive
- Being in good health
- My master's degree
The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me
I don't get too upset if other people don't see some other wonderful facet of my personality right away. First impressions are outrageously important in life, however, so sometimes I'll get a little upset with myself if I don't deliver an absolutely charming, sparkling "performance" the first time if I'm meeting someone I'd like to impress.
Friends Describe me as
Funny, Hard Working, Intelligent, Thoughtful
A little more about me
Only that I am the crown prince of a small kingdom in Europe, and that I can grant them any wish whatsoever. Come with me and spend your days in exotic opulence. This is probably unnecessary, but here is a smiley face to go with that remark just in case: 8^)
