More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

This is a really hard question. I think, to be honest, I am passionate about being kind to others, and accepting all humans with a connection of equalness.

I typically spend my leisure time

Going to a movie, listening to music, spending time with my kids.

The most influential person in my life has been

The first thing people notice about me

My smile.

The last book I read and enjoyed

The Secret Life of Bees. The story of a 14 year old Southern girl, who leaves home after the death of her mother and is taken in by a trio of Black, beekeeping sisters. The story takes place in 1964 (an era I can relate to!), and tells of the bonding of females.

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. That I had, have wonderful understanding, encouraging parents.
  2. My beautiful, healthy, loving, good children.
  3. That I'm blessed to be living in the United States.

The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me

My giving nature.

Friends Describe me as

A little more about me

I have recently moved to Los Angeles from Houston, where I have lived all my life. My children now all live in LA, and I have wanted to move here to be close to them. I have spent the past couple of years helping take care of my ill mother, who recently passed away, and the opportunity for me to move became available, so I took the "plunge" and made the move.
