More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

My familyCompetition in general and winningMaking a positive impact before I leave this world

I typically spend my leisure time

I work about 60 hours M - F so leisure time is very limited during the week. I run in the morning before work & I lift at the gym after work. I am involved in several social & industry related orgs. There is rarely any time left over for anything else until Friday. When the weekend arrives, I typically go out of town & tend to play hard. During the summer, I go to the lake every other weekend or so to waterski, to my place on the beach 4 or 5 times & go to Montana in August. I have season tickets for UT football & spend 6 weekends in the fall in Knoxville. When in town, I'm usually going to a planned event of some sort.

The most influential person in my life has been

Good Natured

The first thing people notice about me

My warmth and charm make people feel comfortable quickly.

The last book I read and enjoyed

I enjoy reading but I haven't set aside time for anything other than industry related reading in a couple of years. The last book that I read for fun was D-Day by Stephen Ambrose. It is an historical account of the Allied invasion of Normandy and how it was the single greatest turning point in our U.S. history. It completely blows my mind that we would have been imperialized by the Axis Power had that day not transpired as it did. The book also has sentimental value.

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. My family.
  2. My unmatchable competitive nature.
  3. This life of undescribable beauty.

The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me

My big hearted and passionate approach to life, if anyone could know such a thing right away

Friends Describe me as

Articulate, Creative, Dependable, Hard Working

A little more about me

I am loyal, honest, reliable, honorable, caring, devoted and sincere. I have a fun and lighthearted side but I never lose sight of the important things in life. I am also obligated to add the fact that I am competitive to the point of occasional obsession. 2nd place could never be acceptable.
