The one thing I am passionate about...
I live a very simple, yet energetic life, and plan on keeping it that way. My passion in life is living in and expanding the Kingdom of God. I do not preach it, nor do I try to tackle people into believing the way I do. Television is out, and being with people is what I do. I spend almost every night of the week out, either at my local church or with small groups. I am sure people and Christ have a good laugh at my antics and attempts to bring joy and contentment into peoples lives. I am a very happy single man, however; an intimate relationship has been lacking in what is otherwise a full life.
I typically spend my leisure time
Coffee shops, occasionally all those other activities everyone else mentions, then coffee shops. Sometimes, chocolate shops before and/or after coffee shops. Actually, I don?t go to coffee shops all the time, quite often I go to friends houses for coffee.
The most influential person in my life has been
I am very compassionate towards friends and acquaintances in small groups and large. However, I believe it is time for a specific friendship that only you can bring into my life. I know there is a loneliness that can only be filled in companionship with someone in which you could fall in love. I have found middle age dating has to go through ALL the steps in building a relationship before, letting intimate passions surface. Anyway, starting out, meeting new possibilities is extremely invigorating to us. All it takes to start is you!
The first thing people notice about me
That I am naturally happy and content with who I am. Then they notice my genuine interest in them and how they are doing right now.
The last book I read and enjoyed
At the risk of seeming extreme, I am currently rereading the Holy Bible in its entirety for some classes I attend. I mostly read nonfiction books. I tend to read a lot of stuff off the internet, witch is always interesting because it is full ? serious? junk, and a little reliable news and information.
The three things which I am most thankful for
- My relationship with God and His Son Jesus Christ my savior.
- My occupation, which provides housing, food, and transportaion. Which is always enough.
- The friends in my life who continually build my compassion for life.
The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me
That I truly offer help, services, and gifts with absolutely no strings attached. Some people never quite understand that concept.
Friends Describe me as
Articulate, Good listener, Happy, Spiritual
A little more about me
I find it interesting when people state, "spiritual but not religious." What they really mean is, "I believe there is a God, but I don't like Legalistic, Dogmatic, church going Christians telling me how wrong my life is." Well, I have good news, neither do I. I have found unimaginable freedom in Biblical teachings. My life is much better when I explore the things I can do, and let others worry about what they cannot do. Don?t let my faith intimidate you; I am a real down-to-earth man who knows how to accept all-others as they are. I definitely smile and laugh considerably more than I am solemn. Laughter is the cure to what ales most people.
