More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

I am very passionate about setting an example for others in the way I live my daily life. I truly believe we are put on this Earth for a reason and regardless of our capacities, we should work to achieve our maximum individual potential. By setting an example for others, I have a positive impact not just on my life but on those around me. Too many images in our world are negative, I try hard to project a positive one.

I typically spend my leisure time

I enjoy most outdoor activities from working in my yard to biking, skiing and hiking. I also enjoy the Colorado Rockies (even if they don't win)!! Finally, I like to read (historical, biographical and some fiction). I especially like book stores and libraries- its great fun to see what's new to read.

The most influential person in my life has been

Someone who wants to work toward a common goal. I think its important for a couple to be on the same page from the very beginning of a relationship.

The first thing people notice about me

My attitude!! I try to always remain positive.

The last book I read and enjoyed

This is tough!! Some recent books I've enjoyed would include Angels and Demons (a thriller set in Rome), Undaunted Courage (the story of the Lewis & Clark expedition) and Linclon (an illustrated biography). I enjoyed the book on Rome because I just visited last September, Lewis & Clark fascinate me with their ability to survive in difficult circumstances and the book on Lincoln because of his personal determination to succeed and his qualities as a great leader.

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. My family
  2. My health
  3. My faith

Friends Describe me as

Easy-Going, Good listener, Hard Working, Spiritual

A little more about me

My Roman Catholic faith is very important to me.
