More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

My most passionate thing in life is reading. I love to read, I learn something everytime I pick up a book. I mostly read romantic novels, however, I love books written by John Grisham.

I typically spend my leisure time

Taking my kids to movies, going out to dinner, dancing and reading.

The most influential person in my life has been

A man who knows where he stands in life, where he is going and how he is getting there. He must be completely honest (with himself first)and always with me. He must know his own shortcoming and be willing to grow to improve them. He must love life and enjoy living it. Everyday isn't going to be a picnic in the park, but he'll enjoy the ups and downs of life and roll with the punches. He most of all must have a strong belief in God and know that there is someone greater than him running his life. He must trust God with his life and allow God to guide him in his decisions about life.

The first thing people notice about me

The fact that I love living my life to the fullest.

The last book I read and enjoyed

Drive Me Crazy by Eric Jerome Dickey. It's a romance novel written by an African-American male. I enjoy Mr. Dickey's books because he writes so much on how women think, act and speak so discriptively. The characters seemed so real and alive.

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. My kids (they keep me grounded)
  2. My sense of adventure (that keeps me in the clouds)
  3. My ability to accept things for what they are (that keeps me level)

The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me

That I'm a person who needs to be taken care of. Most people see me as a strong black woman who doesn't need a man. That's so untrue. I need someone in my corner backing me up.

Friends Describe me as

Affectionate, Dependable, Optimistic, Warm
