More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

I used to be ride a motorcycle and take SCUBA trips, but I've been pursuing further education and have become a book worm. After earning this degree I want to resume travelling - but overseas this time around.

I typically spend my leisure time

Reading and planning the next trip.

The most influential person in my life has been

I look for someone that defines themselves by who they are and not who they are with. Someone who can maintain their independence while giving in to the compromises of a relationship.

The first thing people notice about me

The first thing people notice about me are my general charm, manners, and nonabrasiveness.

The last book I read and enjoyed

The last book I read was Under the Banner of Heaven about how people committing murder (or other extreme behavior) because of the influence of fundamental religious practices. It used fundamental Mormons as a case study. It was just interesting to read. Don't be fooled though into thinking this is my genre of choice to read about. The book I read before that was a novel and the book I am reading now is a biography. I try to read a variety just to keep my brain sharp.

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. The few life-long friends that I can rely on.
  2. For knowing the difference between what I can affect and what I can't
  3. For the each bend in the road, whether I liked it at the time or not.

The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me

It's hard to say. What people "notice" isn't as important as what they can discover. The meat of who I am must be found out through interaction.

Friends Describe me as

Affectionate, Articulate, Intelligent, Rational

A little more about me

I believe life is too short to rush around doing as much as possible. It is more important to "stop and smell the roses," as they say, and what is most important in life is not the ultimate destination we seek, but the journey that changes us as we get there.
