More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

I'm passionate about my work and I enjoy my job. I'm also passionate about cars; I subscribe to three car magazines. I also have a strong interests in religion, philosophy, politics, traveling, movies, and music.

I typically spend my leisure time

I love to read the news. Sounds kind of boring I guess but I love to read. I also like to go outside when it is nice. I have a dog that I will take to the park or walk. I've also got friends that I can go out on the town with probably twice a month or so. I'm not real big on bars but it is definitely good to go out and blow off some steam.

The most influential person in my life has been

Self-awareness. It's hard to get to know someone if they haven't figured out who they are yet!

The first thing people notice about me

People tell me that I have a good head on my shoulders. That is to say, I seem to think things through and make rational decisions.

The last book I read and enjoyed

I'm read most of Christopher Hitchens collection of essays "Love, Poverty, and War". Just finished "The Way of the Samurai" a short history of the life and times of the Japanese Samurai. I'm now working on "American Mania: When more is not enough" by Peter C. Whybrow M.D. of UCLA. Fascinating read...

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. My family who has always supported me.
  2. My friends who are always there for me and give me good advice.
  3. My job which provides me with security, excitement, and satisfaction.

The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me

That just because I frown a lot doesn't mean I'm mad or unhappy. I know, I know, turn that frown upside down....

Friends Describe me as

Ambitious, Easy-Going, Intelligent, Rational

A little more about me

Yeah, I'm a cop, but don't let that intimidate you. I don't fit the stereotype at all. I'm open to meeting all kinds of people.
