More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

I am most passionate about teaching and studying about biology. To me, DNA is God in each of us and in all living things.

I typically spend my leisure time

Sometimes I wash windows, Usually I do aerobics, watch Yankee games, garden, go to family gatherings, read novels, and watch Law and Order and American Dream (my favorite TV shows). I also like to go out to dinner- because I don't like to cook.

The most influential person in my life has been

Someone who "gets" me - my jokes, my facial expressions, and my body language. I long for someone who bothers to pay enough attention to really "get" me and then to appreciate what he got.

The first thing people notice about me

On a good day, my quick wit. On a not so good day, my fresh mouth.

The last book I read and enjoyed

"Middlesex" I forgot the author - shame on me - but I enjoyed the play on words. An unsuspecting hermaphrodite is born into an equally unsuspecting upwardly mobile family who thinks that their biggest struggle is to acquire a home in a place like Middlesex! I was inspired by the amazing discussions regarding genetics that were simultaneously complex and "consumable" by non-science folks....and if I could REALLY do this book justice, I'd be an author too.

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. A body that works.
  2. A mind that works.
  3. A car that works....only kidding. My final answer is my relationship with my mother.

The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me

In spite of my outgoing behavior and sometimes provocative dress, I'm VERY traditional and a little old fashioned. I just can't resist a good "line" (or the fishnets).

Friends Describe me as

Genuine, Hard Working, Intelligent, Physically Fit

A little more about me

Probably, but if anyone is still reading, I guess "in person" might serve us both better. What do you think?
