The one thing I am passionate about...
I am most passionate about my children; they come first, before me or anyone! But, next I am passionate about my family and friends. Third place is my passion for dance (i.e. Swing, Ballroom, Latin, County, etc.). Since the age of five, I have done some form of dance whether it be ballet, jazz, tap, modern, aerobic, hawaiin...... you name it. If I could never dance again, I hope at least there is always an abundance of chocolate.
I typically spend my leisure time
With family and friends, working around the house (painting, decorating, fixing, landscaping, etc.), and most definitely swing dancing gets in there too.
The most influential person in my life has been
If I had to pick one it would be honesty, but there are really only four things I think everyone would want in a relationship: 1. Friend (trust, honesty, & respect), 2. Companion (trading off things to do, doing something the other likes, and doing something I like; just hanging and enjoying each other), 3. Soulmate (someone who knows what I would say and vice versa, we can look at each other and know what the other needs; we can depend and lean on each other for moral, physical, or emotional support when needed), Lover (monogomous, compassionate, loving, active; at the same time adventurous, exploring).
The first thing people notice about me
I don't know, but many call me sunshine when I walk into a room. Maybe because I'm always happy, and don't let my mood affect others.
The last book I read and enjoyed
A book I wrote of which I am too afraid to submit for publishing. I like it because it is a romantic thriller with a twist ending, but every time I read it, I edit it like crazy. It is never just right (I am more critical of myself than others); though I have had friends and acquaintances read it and they said they could not put it down.
The three things which I am most thankful for
- My children.
- My ability to be independent , and take care of myself and two children alone.
- My achievements.
The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me
I am genuinely very nice; not stuck up at all.
Friends Describe me as
Dependable, Funny, Genuine, Intelligent
A little more about me
Most of my friends complain I am too compassionate and it often affects my mood if someone else is hurting. I treat everyone equal, I look at he person rather then their status or title, I know the guards, and the janitor's names in my office building, and I do not like someone treating anyone less than them, or people who are rude to waiters or waitresses, look down on anyone, or make fun of anyone. I would help an enemy or someone I didn't like if they really needed it. None of my past relationships left on bad terms (except the ex-husband-didn't want me to leave), they would NOT speak ill of me, and they still think highly of me.
