The one thing I am passionate about...
Aside from religion - which, of course, is important to me - I am in a historical re-inactment group that concentrates on the medieval era from roughly 1000 to 1600 BC. It involves clothing, fighting, and activities from that time period. There are weekly meetings which I attend fairly regularly and a few weekend camping events that are ever so much fun. As a side note, I am also passionate about writing. I would some day like to be a published author in the field of fantasy, perhaps (given time to do research) historical fantasy.
I typically spend my leisure time
Between my medieval group (fencing being my predominant activity within said group) and my writing, I can stay fairly scheduled. But I do make an effort to go out and see movies when one catches my interest, and I take all the time outdoors I can get in the summer, when it's warm. Whether it's volleyball, hiking, or just sitting outside and reading a book, I love the outdoors. I also admit to a certain liking of cop or detective shows - it's intriguing watching the puzzles come together.
The most influential person in my life has been
I am looking for someone that communicates well - and that I trust enough to communicate fully with. Someone who asks questions about me and what's going on in my life - and maintains that curiousity into the relationship.
The first thing people notice about me
My positive attitude. I believe in having fun, and sharing that fun with as many people as possible.
The last book I read and enjoyed
The last book I read and enjoyed was Leadership and Self Deception. While marketed toward a more business audience, the book had some keen insight for dealing with others and improving not only your interpersonal relationships, but your general happiness and satisfaction in your own life. More often I read science fiction or fantasy novels, but that's what I read last...
The three things which I am most thankful for
- My spiritual beliefs - they give me an anchor and a source of hope.
- My family & friends- they always stand behind me and appreciate me for who I am.
- My creativity and talents. Because they're fun.
The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me
... I'm afraid I'm pretty obvious.
Friends Describe me as
Creative, Funny, Happy, Sweet
A little more about me
I can ocassionally be serious - it's happened at least twice, which means it is repeatable and therefore that statement is scientifically sound.
