More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

I am most passionate about my relationships. I hope to be a strong and positive influence in the lives of those around me. I want my family, friends, and other people I encounter to experience our relationship as being a positive life experience. I hope that these relationships will enhance the growth of everyone involved.

I typically spend my leisure time

I typically spend my leisure time with family and friends, going to the movies, shopping, out for dinner, reading, writing, hiking, and learning how to cook. I also love museums and road trips. I hope to travel a lot. There's just so much to see!

The most influential person in my life has been

The most important quality that I am looking for in another person is honesty. I want to be in a relationship with someone who is willing to share their true thoughts and feelings and is interested in mine as well.

The first thing people notice about me

The first thing that people notice about me is that I am a quiet and shy person.

The last book I read and enjoyed

The last book I read was called Dress Your Family in Corduroy and Denim, by David Sedaris. He's a comedian, and his essays are pretty honest and funny. I'm currently reading a book called "The Way Life Should Be" by Christina Baker Kline. It's about a woman in New York who gets fired from her stressful job, joins a dating service, and moves to Maine to be closer to a great guy. While she's there she becomes enveloped in life's simplicity and decides to stay. She begins to work in a small coffee shop, meets new friends, and teaches a cooking class... Really, I'm living vicariously!

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. My Family and Friends
  2. My Education
  3. My Health

The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me

One thing that people don't notice about me right away that I wish they would is that once I feel comfortable around someone I open up and am fun to be with.

Friends Describe me as

Affectionate, Dependable, Good listener, Optimistic
