More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

Recently, I found myself with the opportunity to perform volunteer work. This is something I have always wanted to do but there was always a "reason" not to. Now that I have actually begun do it, I have a real passion for it. I have begun some volunteer work in the nearby cities and coach youths in my local community. I just wish I had started sooner but I really feel like I am making a difference.

I typically spend my leisure time

Bike rides, making reservations (I can't cook), listening to music (I love country--my God, I've turned into my father), raising my son, eating popcorn at the movies, roller coasters, Broadway, making reservations (I really like to eat), the Patriots (I had season tickets when they were 2-14), kayaking in Portsmouth and every once in a while I sit on my couch and just press the remote.

The most influential person in my life has been

There are so many qualities that are important I can't seem to decide on which is most important. But I think at the end of the day, you want to be able to look at this person and say, "She's a good person. I'm lucky to be with her."

The first thing people notice about me

I am very polite mostly because I was raised well. I have a friend who grew up in Virginia who calls me her Northern Southern Gentleman. I'm pretty sure that is a compliment.

The last book I read and enjoyed

Another thing I always found a reason not to do was read Watership Down. (Yes, the book about the bunnies.) I loved it. It's a story of the conflict between a free society and a neighboring totalitarian state. It's a story of courage and sacrifice and loss and good triumphing over evil. Next I might read a book that has people in it.

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. My family which is wonderful.
  2. My great friends.
  3. My life--I have every thing I need and almost everything I want. Who could ask for more?

The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me

I don't comment on everything I notice so I know people don't realize how perceptive I am.

Friends Describe me as

Happy, Loyal, Outgoing, Romantic

A little more about me

I am, like virtually everyone else on this site, searching for the love of my life. I know she's out there some where and maybe she's here. But in any event, I know when the search is over I'll be able to look back and say "it was worth the wait."
