More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

I am passionate about my family, about learning, about fairness, about travel, about entertainment, about creativeness and health - eating good food, about animals and about life - even when it can be challenging.

I typically spend my leisure time

I try to exercise, get my chores done, go shopping, finish a book, reach out to my family (visit, email, or call), entertainment (shows, movies, and parties), computer (email, games, research, exploring) and cook or go out to a great meal.

The most influential person in my life has been

A complex, intelligent, fun, curious, loving, caring, neat, responsible, balanced and mature man who loves to travel, entertain, laugh and love. Must love family, dogs and playing, movies, opera, musicals, museums, a great day outdoors or indoors by the fire.

The first thing people notice about me

My zest for life, my energy, and my happiness/cheerfulness.

The last book I read and enjoyed

Robin Hobb, The Farseer Books, a book about struggle and sacrifice for causes greater than self which revolves around loyalty and trust. Characters that are so believable they seem real - superior writing - with adventure and intrigue so that I fell into the book, reading every word and not wanting it to end.

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. My family and friends - without them my life would be meaningless.
  2. My health - without good health my path would be more difficult or challenging.
  3. My pets - who constantly remind me of unconditional love.

The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me

Nothing really - there is only so much first impressions can impart and that is mostly based on appearance. During the work week, they see a successful professional commuting to work and on the weekends they see a woman in jeans in a great mood with a list of chores.

Friends Describe me as

Caring, Dependable, Intelligent, Spontaneous
