The one thing I am passionate about...
I am most passionate in the care for my animals, listening to folk and classical music along with other less often heard music, my Faith, antique furniture, landscaping, ecology, politics, relaxing when I get the chance, and someday woodworking.
I typically spend my leisure time
When I am not volunteering or taking care of the livestock that is in my care I enjoy taking hammered dulcimer lessons, classical, folk, blues, rock, wrap, and country music, antiqueing, going to concerts, learing to cook, landscaping, someday woodworking, looking at architecture, and passively enjoying the outdoors.
The most influential person in my life has been
Honesty, affection, loving, compassion
The first thing people notice about me
That if I feel comfortable I am rather talkative and am very interested in learning about new things that this world has to offer. It is a very big world and there is only so little time to experiennce it.
The last book I read and enjoyed
The Diary of Anne Frank. It was refreshing to read about something that had to deal with one of the most tragic events in the world and experience how the human spirit can continue on and always work a flourishing amidst all that is going on. I am currently reading Developing Spiritual Discplines to start cultivating my spiritual life and live what I believe in.
The three things which I am most thankful for
- My relationship with God
- The companionship of three wonderful greyhounds
- A most excellent job that allows me to have a life
The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me
What a gorgeous man I really am. This may be somewhat of an overstatement.
Friends Describe me as
Easy-Going, Funny, Good listener, Intelligent
A little more about me
I currently have three greyhounds and two pesty little cats. I will not be increasing the amount of livestock that occupy my house and someday have only 1 dog and maybe a pesty cat. I do try to be a better person everyday and everyday am reminded of how much more I have to improve.
