More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

I am passionate about trying new things -- being able to say I have done this or that at least once. Traveling and forms of exercise and sports are usually the ways that I try and see new things. I would much rather go somewhere and see something live than watch a documentary about it on TV. Because I like to try new things, I don't hold myself to a standard of being able to do everything well. I think you can be passionate about trying new things (and giving it your all) without worrying whether you will be good at it -- the point is to try.

I typically spend my leisure time

I exercise a lot. Read many types of books and magazines. Enjoy movies and dinners out with friends. And enjoy live sporting events (not so much when just on TV).

The most influential person in my life has been

The ability to enjoy life and be open to trying new things.

The first thing people notice about me

That I am somewhat shy and don't tend to talk too much until I have met you several times.

The last book I read and enjoyed

Last book I read was a V.I. Warshawski detective story (female P.I. series set in Chicago). Enjoy just escaping into a good story like this when it's fiction. But I also enjoy reading history as well as current events, so it's hard to say what I'll pick up next.

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. Family - people who respect, love, and care for each other
  2. Friends - people whose company you enjoy and appreciate
  3. Optimism - my attitude of finding the good things and humor in situations

The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me

That I am not easily intimated or embarrassed. Frequently because I start out shy and less talkative, people assume I am easy to offend.

Friends Describe me as

Intelligent, Passionate, Perceptive, Quiet

A little more about me

Can't think of anything.
