More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

I volunteer in a lot of conservation and quality management activities. In addition, I am an avid fisherman, but do not get enough time to fish as much as I would like...need to work on setting the right priorities.

I typically spend my leisure time

Fishing, canoeing, kayaking, fishing, reading, fishing...

The most influential person in my life has been

A truthful, open person who is active, friendly, intelligent, and supportive. A pereson who has high expectations from a partner, and who is willing to contribute to creating and maintaining a successful relationship.

The first thing people notice about me

I am a reserved but friendly person, a good listener, easy to talk to, and can talk fairly well about a wide range of issues.

The last book I read and enjoyed

I am a Dan Brown fan, and the last book I read of his was "Deception Point", a wonderful story of scientific deceit and trickery in the polar region, and the high level of activity it took to bring this deception to public attention. This book was similar to but better than "The Digital Fortress", and there were no religious undertones in this book like there is in "Angels and Demons" and "The DaVinci Code".

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. Children who love me and have never been in real trouble.
  2. Parents and grandparents who loved me.
  3. Long term friends who were met through work or places lived.

The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me

That I am a sincere and friendly person, who likes to meet people and find areas of mutual interest and concern.

Friends Describe me as

Good listener, Hard Working, Modest, Thoughtful

A little more about me

I like to have fun, and make sure others are having fun as well. Sometimes, fun is reading a book, sometimes fishing, sometimes going out to dinner or a movie or show. Having fun is as important as making sure the roof over our heads is not leaking and we have food in the 'frig. I guess that's the balance working brings to the table.
