More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

I think it is important to be a good all around person, so my passion is trying to achieve this in mind, body and soul. I am not always successful in the body part, but I do exercise on a regular basis and I try to make healthy food choices. For the soul, I go to Church regularly and I do a lot of volunteer work. For the mind, I have a healthy social life which is mentally important, plus I have various interests outside of my social life that keep my mind active. I guess you could say that my passion is being the best me I can be.

I typically spend my leisure time

My leisure time is typically spent cleaning my house. I don't know what happens to this place, but in a matter of seconds it looks like a tornado has run through the place. I think there must some kind of strange unexplainable phenonmenon to explain how my house becomes so messy in the blink of an eye. Perhaps I live on some kind of geographic vortex. Or maybe it's poltergeists. I don't know.

The most influential person in my life has been

The most important quality that I look for in a partner is kindness.

The first thing people notice about me

This is a hard question because other than appearance it could be just about anything. I would have to guess that the first thing someone would notice is that I am friendly. If I see someone standing alone in a room full of people, a party for instance, I make a point of going over and introducing myself so that the person does not have to be alone if they don't want to be alone. If they want to be alone, I take the hint and let them be.

The last book I read and enjoyed

The last Book I read and enjoyed was "All Things Bright and Beautiful" By James Herriot. It is the second book in a series. It is a true story written by a large animal Vet in England in the 30's and 40's. It was very interesting and quite funny. I like to laugh and this book made me laugh out loud. The first book "All Creatures Great and Small" was just as good.

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. The people that love me-my family and friends
  2. My sense of humor-I crack myself up!
  3. My faith that God will get me through just about anything.

The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me

The one thing that people don't notice about me right away that I wish they would is that I am a catch! It may sound conceited, but it is the truth. I am smart, funny, I can support myself, I have a nice base of friends. I have my own life, I'm not trying to take over anyone else's. I have no baggage. I am independant and self sufficient. I don't NEED a man, but I do think it it is nice when you have one.

Friends Describe me as

Dependable, Funny, Loyal, Perceptive

A little more about me

I am nice. I laugh at my own jokes. I don't like to be lied to. I can be very bold, but usually not in a bad way, more of a fun "I can't believe I just did that" kind of way. I am always watching my weight. Sometimes I watch it go up, sometimes I watch it go down, it's not as interesting as you would think. It's like watching tennis on TV.
