More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

I am most passionate about my personal Savior, Jesus Christ. Beyond this, I love working with kids. I love to teach them and see the lightbulb go on when they learn a new concept. I also enjoy working with students who have a harder time learning, trying to help them overcome their struggles and gain the confidence for more success. This is a small part of what makes teaching so wonderful.

I typically spend my leisure time

I enjoy hiking, camping, singing, playing board and card games with family and friends, playing sports like volleyball and soccer, watching sports like basketball, volleyball, soccer, watching movies, watching some TV, watching sunsets and looking at the stars.

The most influential person in my life has been

I am looking for a Christian man who loves the Lord, is a good listener, is trusting, makes me laugh and smile(has a good sense of humor), is active(likes the outdoors and sports), is intelligent, has a nice appearance(dresses nice but can be casual too), is hard working(integrity), emotionally stable/healthy, is caring, loving and kind. He needs to be able to communicate well and have good judgement.

The last book I read and enjoyed

I recently read Beverly Cleary's Henry Huggins. It's about a boy who finds a dog he names Ribsy and the adventures he creates throughout the book. It's a great book! I also enjoyed Snow Treasure about a family who has to get their gold down a hill to a boat to be safe from the German soldiers. The family uses children to help transport the gold using sleds to not be suspected by anyone. I enjoyed the suspense and mystery from start to finish. I also read The Purpose Driven Life which helped me define what my purpose is and know that God is not yet finished forming me into who he wants me to be.

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. I am thankful I was raised in a Christian environment.
  2. I am thankful for my family and friends.
  3. I am thankful for my teaching position.

Friends Describe me as

Dependable, Genuine, Good listener, Loyal
