More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

I am most passionate about relationships. First, with Christ. Second, with family. Third, with friends. I will put aside almost anything to spend time with those I love, and I consider quality time a vital necessity in the development of any relationship. When I am least relationally active, my life feels stale and stagnant, but when I am actively working to develop the relationships that matter, I feel more alive than at any other time! I can't claim to be any sort of expert at relationship development, so I usually concentrate on trying to spend enough time with someone to get to know them as well as we are both comfortable with.

I typically spend my leisure time

I love to spend time with my friends; eating out or hanging out at someone's house apartment to play cards, watch a movie, or anything relaxing is fun. I also love dancing (ballroom) when I get a chance, and skiing in the winter. I enjoy being outside and like to walk and hike when I get the chance.

The most influential person in my life has been

It's hard to pick just one. What usually attracts me most about a girl's personality is a combination of an obviously deep faith in God, thoughtfulness with intelligence, and an easygoing, patient demeanor.

The first thing people notice about me

Actually, I'm not sure. I suppose I should ask someone sometime. I had someone once say that he had noticed I had a "chiseled face," but I didn't know quite how to take that. So I took it as a compliment. =)

The last book I read and enjoyed

I'm reading some books about China because I'm going there at the end of September for a week. I love history and biography and am reading a little bit of both right now.

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. My salvation
  2. My family
  3. My friends

The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me

Ummm... I'm not sure about that one.

Friends Describe me as

Ambitious, Passionate, Romantic, Spontaneous

A little more about me

I was on a long hiatus during my first year of grad school. If you saw my profile during that time, feel free to open contact if you're intrigued, because I'm back now! Thanks! =)
