More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

I am passionate about passion, love, family, exercise and movement in general, and beauty - I am also passionate about the smell of the woods during a hike, or newly mown grass, small towns, new places, how the world looks from an airplane, fields of corn, hawks, a cool breeze...

I typically spend my leisure time

I spend my leisure time usually reading, exercising, and going out with friends to dinner, movies, out dancing or listening to music. My ideal leisure though is sleeping late with someone special, eating breakfast in bed, kissing... , then maybe watching a dvd, or playing scrabble or something, then maybe going out to exercies or take a walk on the beach.

The most influential person in my life has been

The most important qualities for me are a combination of kindness, integrity, a sense of humor, a sense of physical/chemical attraction between us, and a willingness to be in a committed relationship

The first thing people notice about me

I suppose people notice that I am smart

The last book I read and enjoyed

I read alot, both fiction and nonfiction (something to do with a natural sense of curiousity and reading lets you step into another life for awhile). I just finished reading "The Count of Monte Cristo" by Alexandre Dumas. His use of words is wonderful, I also just reread "A Tale of Two Cities" by Dickens and that was wonderful, I don't think I really appreciated it the first time I read it. I also read "Le Divorce" recently and that was fun.

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. The love I feel for and from my children, my family and my friends
  2. Hot baths, good books, a bowl of popcorn and a good movie
  3. Adventures

The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me

Hmmmm - that's a good question, I think I would like people to notice that I am funny - or I can be funny

Friends Describe me as

Affectionate, Articulate, Intelligent, Passionate
